Question about blogging

Hey team, after a few years of thinking about it. I spent some time last week setting up a blog via blogger. Still pretty sparse, but did post a small hello.
Want to post photos from this crop but can't figure out how to do that.
Also, if I post photos to other challenges, they often say "Must link to a 'direct post' and not a blog."
How do I do that?
Any help would be appreciated!

Golda is a busy blogger; she would know much more about than me. I have a blog but I can't answer those questions. I've been neglecting my blog because I don't think anyone looks at it.

Kathy, I don't use Blogger, but I when I post to my WordPress blog, I just upload the pictures from my computer. That's how I put them on here, too. If you don't have storage room on your computer, you might try saving them to a thumb drive and see if you can just load the ones you want to post to your computer, upload them, then delete them off your computer.
