Daffodils are in bloom in Skagit County

Hey Barry...daffodil fields are in bloom and some have been harvested already! Overskagit is on FB and have pictures (taken from a drone) of the fields. Tulips fields will be bloom soon! (I will keep you up to date...I know you've been trying the last 2 years to see the fields in bloom!)

For everyone else, I wish you could be here today...it's actually sunny with blue sky and warm 52 degrees with no wind. SPRING!

Loved seeing the flowers. I don't think we will see any for awhile.

Barry - I believe it's April 21st but here is the link for all the Festival Events...
www.tulipfestival.org

They have a link to let you know which field is in bloom too! Very helpful when you are planning your route through the fields. I always love visiting the demo gardens at the 2 main farms, but they have an admission price...but I try to go to the "free" locals day.

Lovely, Trudi. My daffodils came up early because we have had such a warm winter. I would say they were within a few days of blooming when we got hit with a light snow. They are probably goners but I'm still hoping to see their pretty yellow faces. Hope springs eternal!

Trudi, I got your tulip festival brochure! Thank you. I am thinking we will be coming to see them this coming weekend!
