Katrina's Girl Scout troop adopted the Vets at a local Assisted Living Center for their Bronze Award (15+ hours of Community Service that THE GIRLS have to plan and execute). Since some of the girls had early release from school yesterday, I invited them over to make simple cards. Katrina, Naomi, and Eve made 64 sSt Patty Day cards (featuring stickers!) and 40 Easter (I did make a bunch of the simpler Easter cards with stickers since the girls were busy stamping and coloring!) They spent 3 hours doing these....

I did man the paper cutter...at this age they aren't always careful and I didn't want to "hover" over them constantly! There was a lot of gossiping and laughing, it was an AWESOME way to spend the afternoon!

What neat kiddos! They did a great job! Bet it was fun to spend the time with them. Lots of chattering and laughing, right?
