Game Time to Prep for Crop

This is really an oldie but a goodie!

The raindrops, so many raindrops
It feels like raindrops
Falling from my eyes
Falling from my eyes

Since my love has left me, I'm so all alone
I would bring her back to me
But I don't know where she's gone
I don't know where she's gone

There must be a cloud in my head
Rain keeps falling from my eyes
Oh no they can't be teardrops
For a man ain't supposed to cry

If all the raindrop were lemon-drop and gum-drops
Oh what a rain it would be
I would stand outside with my mouth wide open
Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah
Oh, what a rain it would be!

Raindrops, raindrops
I look out my window and what do I see
Raindrops, raindrops
They mark the pathway to my destiny.

"Rain falls, soft rain at my window, and the butterfly has hurried away, all the honey bees have called it a day and the Columbine are bending their heads in the rain" -

I sang this in high school choir - IN 1981 and I still remembered the lyrics!

You'll be my soft and sweet
I'll be your strong and steady
You'll be my glass of wine
I'll be your shot of whiskey
You'll be my sunny day
I'll be your shade tree
You'll be my honeysuckle
I'll be your honey bee

Every honeybee fills with jealousy
When they see you out with me
I don't blame them goodness knows
Honeysuckle rose

When you're passin' by flowers droop and sigh
And I know the reason why
You're much sweeter goodness knows
Honeysuckle rose

I saw her sitting in the rain
Raindrops falling on her
She didn't seem to care
She sat there and smiled at me

Then I knew
(I knew, I knew, I knew, I knew)
She could make me happy
(Happy, happy)
She could make me very happy

Flowers in her hair
(In her hair)
Flowers everywhere
(Everywhere)

I love the flower girl
(I love the flower girl)
Oh, I don't know just why, she simply caught my eye
I love the flower girl
(I love the flower girl)
She seemed so sweet and kind, she crept into my mind
(To my mind, to my mind)

Standing on the corner watching all the pretty girls go by.
And I'm trying to play it so cool as I'm tryin to catch their eyes.
And I know sometimes my wandering eye has brought some rain
Ooo baby
So I'm standing out here on this corner trying to find the words to explain

A pretty girl's like a flower, you just gotta stay close to
They come and go like the hour
Whats a guy to do
But when it comes to forever, you know my heart is true
Of all the pretty flowers
Baby I picked you

Many blossoms line the streets a thousand colors that I could choose
And I'm trying to imagine the taste of all the petals I must refuse
And I know there's nothing I can say to ease your mind, but i'll try
The days I spend here on this corner are all just passin time

A pretty girl's like a flower you just gotta stay close to
They come and go like the hour
What's a guy to do
But when it comes to forever, you know my heart is true
Of all the pretty flowers, baby I picked you.

And I know there's nothing I can say to ease your mind
But I'll try
The days I stand here on this corner are all just passin time

A pretty girl's like a flower you just gotta stay close to
They come and go like the hour, whats a guy to do
But when it comes to forever you know my heart is true
Of all the pretty flowers, baby I picked you.

Where have all the flowers gone, long time passing?
Where have all the flowers gone, long time ago?
Where have all the flowers gone?
Young girls have picked them everyone.
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Oh, when will they ever learn?

Some say love it is a hunger
An endless aching need
I say love it is a flower
And you it's only seed
