Saturday Challenge - Iris **Winner - Trudi**

For this challenge make a card using Iris Folding. Your card can be for any occasion.

If you have never tried Iris Folding it is really easy and there are many websites that have instructions, tutorials, and patterns. Here are a couple to get you started:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFv-KrwDqjo

Please create something different for each challenge you enter for this crop. You have until Tuesday, May 5 at midnight PST (gives you a couple more hours this time) to upload a picture of your creation for this challenge to be entered into a drawing for a prize. Thank you for playing along.

Here is my example. This is the first Iris Folding that I ever did (about 10-15 years ago) and it has just sat in my craft room taunting me to give it a home. So, I finally turned it into a card. There is also a wonderful example of Iris Folding on the Tulip challenge.

Participants:
1. Ellie
2. Golda
3. Trudi - WINNER!
4. Kathy
5. Terrie
6. Barry
7. Sheri
8. Marilyn

Your Iris Fold apple is beautiful, Koren. I haven't done this for a couple of years but I will happily give it a go. Thanks for hosting!

Koren, that is gorgeous! Now, I'm hoping to have time to try this as it is so lovely and I need to learn something new.

Koren, your challenge is great! And I like the links you provided. Makes this technique look doable. I tried it once and struggled... will give it another try!

Ellie, your card is yummylicious! And the matching sentiment is perfect. I think that I shall go and find some icecream!

I love your ice cream cone Ellie, and the papers that you used are perfect.

Okay, I didn't use a pattern, just kind of stuck my papers on how I thought they looked okay. My husband thought it looked good at the end.

The small ornaments are out of some of the same papers and are popped up.
