The Quilt The winner... LINDA JO

I used long rectangles of embossed DP for the background which I think gives this a 'quilted' look. I then had some left over DP with the flowers design as a border that I cut for the middle of the card.

Marilyn, I thought about doing that pattern; yours is just lovely! Nice sentiment too.

Barry, if that was areal quilt it would be too pretty to use. It would have to be strictly for display. The colors are so soft and delicate! Beautiful card!

Ellie, your quilt cards are amazing and beautiful!!! The colors and that design are gorgeous!!!

Marilyn, your quilt card is darling!!! I love the sentiment and how you added stitching around the hexagons and the sentiment.

This paper was already embossed and "quilted"...it reminded me of Grandma Fritzy's quilts that she made when I was a tiny girl.

Great challenge, Jane. And I love that all of the quilts already entered into this competition have such different colors, textures and themes. Just like the real thing!

Here is my entry. The sentiment is a little fuzzy, but it reads ""Seams" like forever,,," (outside) "... since we've talked. I miss you 'sew' much!" (inside of the card)

Very pretty embossed quilt, Trudi!

Kathy, I love all of the puns on your card and the quilted part looks like real fabric.

Koren, your card is perfectly wonderful. Did you attache the quilt squared before you embossed it? I love the texture!
