Friday Challenge - The Emerald City **Winner - Trudi**

Linda Jo, what a lovely card! I really like the elegance of it. The stitch marks on the one flower are great, too.

Linda Jo, I agree with Golda. Your card is very elegant. Looks like a brocade gown from the Renaissance years!

Terrie, I like the bling in your butterfly (kind of like the spring in your step).

Kathy, I really like the color combo you used. That's kind of a yummy button too.

Golda, your bird is hilarious. She is all deck out.

Linda Jo, simple, pretty and there's that green and purple combo again. Beautiful.

Don't love it, but I was working with limited supplies "on location". I went with the middle vertical line - Stamped sentiment, green patterned paper & green flower.

It looks fine, Elaine. It's sparkly and springy! I hear ya though. It's frustrating to make a card on location and wish you had something more from your stash.

I decided to go manly with this one. I went diagonally-green die cut, green patterned paper and a wee bit of gold.

Great card El - where did you find the beer bottles?

OK, this one I could have done several ways thanks to the Bingo style recipe! I went with the leaf or flower in green, green pattern paper and a stamped sentiment (that happened to include an image). The image was from a free digi stamp that Kathy had recommended several years ago and I have used this image many times. The leaves are cut from some paper that I bought at a thrift store a million years ago, love it so much that I save every little scrap because I love this paper and haven't seen anything like it before or since.
