As it is crop week, I'll be giving you some questions to help us get ready . . .

What was the first year that Christmas was celebrated on December 25?

Elaine, I had to look it up, too. I can't imagine how many people would know this without looking it up. I did know WHO set it up, just not the when.

Most of these are going to be interesting facts, so you'll probably need to look them up. I'm hoping some people will know, at least a few of them.

So, I'm waiting for an answer.

Come on, you can look this one up and answer, as I doubt any of us know/knew off the top of our heads.

The answer was 336.

Next question. . .what 2 other holidays are celebrated on or very close to December 25?

It wasn't what I was thinking, but that is correct. Now, what is another?

I'm getting lots of FB answers. So, a couple other answers would be Hanukkah, and Dies Natalis Solis Invicti, as well as Kwanzaa.

Question #3 . . .How many angels appeared to the shepherds to announce the birth of the Christ?

Sorry. I've been working on a grant report and finally closing it down for the night.

So here goes,
Alex, what is "A heavenly host"?
(And, I just googled how many angels that would be. All I could find was that a host is a multitude, i.e. a large number!)
