Kathy and I were thinking along the same lines, though I had actually figured out what I was doing before I saw her post. I am going with a soft color scheme on most of these.

Golda, how fun that we used the same concept but our cards looks so different. I like that you used several colors of cording. Adds a nice complexity to your creation!

I love all of the creative uses of string and your cards are all great. Here is mine:
