For this challenge make a 6 x 6 recipe card with a favorite holiday recipe. These make a cute little gift when you fill a 6 x 6 album with your favorite recipes.

You have until midnight on Tuesday Nov. 22 to post a picture of your recipe card to be included in a random drawing for a prize. If your recipe is not legible in your picture please include it separately in your post so that we can try them out.

I thought I would include this recipe with the train card I made so kept it flat.

Image

(Stupid photo will right itself when it's ready. Can't get photobucket to cooperate.)

Here's the recipe in case it's not readable on the card.

BON BON COOKIES
¾ cup powdered sugar
½ cup butter, softened
1 T vanilla
1-1/2 cup flour
1/8 tsp. salt
Hershey Kisses or Hugs, unwrapped

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Mix in flour and salt. Scoop approximately 1 tablespoon of dough in hand. Flatten dough, then wrap the dough around a kiss/hug. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool cookies and ice. Top with sprinkles if desired.

Icing: 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 2-1/2 T cream, 1 tsp vanilla, food coloring if desired.

I agree. I might have to try making those cookies.
