Ride Like the Wind Winner Trudi

Moderator: Golda

What a great die, Trudi. Nice card, too.

Okay, I really wanted to do a motorcycle (dirt), however, didn't have one and you can't really feel the wind when wearing a helmet, etc. So, I thought about when I was little, my dad used to restore old vehicles and sell them. We always drove them for a while. I remember a hard top convertible we had for a while.

Golda, your classic car is a great addition to our list of fast vehicles. How did you make that wonderful dirt road? Thanks so much for doing my challenge.

I used a brass template and did the edges angling, then water colored it. Did the whole background on water color paper, to give it fun texture and because I thought it would be fun to do a water color background. Saw my friend Erika making a bunch the other day and realized I haven't done that in a while.

Thank you Ellie! What a great way to start a super rainy day! (At least it warmed up to rain, I don't think I'd be happy with the other precipitation option!)
