Mustard Potato Salad. The only kind of potato salad I don't add extra mustard to is German and I rarely have that.

I eat mustard on lots of things; Irarely use ketchup. One of my favorites is a White Cstle burger with mustard. It's abig treat for me because we don't have White Castles in Kansas City. When we go to St. louis , I love to get a sack of Castles.

Well this is a little morbid...April 25, 1792 the Guillotine was used for the first time to execute Nicholas Pelletier. He was convicted of assault and robbery and some historical accounts say also murder. It was a public execution and the crowds were dissatisfied because it was too swift. There were cries of "bring back the gallows". Yikes.

Terrie, thanks for asking us to do this. I had a great time reading all of the things that happened on my birthday.

Here is the best one: January 25, 1870 Gustavus Dows patented the soda fountain. Hooray for chocolate malts in that metal cup! I have great memories of my mom and I taking a bus to go shopping in downtown St. Louis and having lunch at a Walgreens soda fountain. I don't remember the food but I remember those chocolate malts.

This was interesting. 1 pope was murdered on September 15, and on 3 separate occasions, one was chosen on this date. However, I like this one: 1857 Timothy Alder of NY patents a typesetting machine.

This is so interesting! What a fun game, Terrie. I can say, I've never learned so much, while playing a game.
