One of my favorite books is Christy by Catherine Marshall. It's set in the Appalachians in 1912 where one of the primary characters makes beautiful quilts.
My mom taught me to do crazy quilting. One year we made pillow toppers Christmas ornaments for family gifts. I remembered that I had a few small pieces left over and actually found them! Was precious to spend time thinking of my mom while putting this card together. (Thanks for providing a challenge that brought with it such warm memories, Koren!)
