That's so funny Kathy. But why are you getting your Christmas gift for Thanksgiving???

Thanks for sharing your thought on the MISTI....it's been on my wish list for a while...

Congrats Kathy on getting one...

Maybe because Rich was afraid I'd whine from now until Christmas? Or, since we celebrate Christmas, New Years Day, our Anniversary and my birthday all within a span of 9 days, maybe he is just getting an early jump on the gift giving?! He is sweet like that. (And, I'm thinking that maybe 39 is the "Awesome card stamping tool" Anniversary? Or, if it isn't, it should be!)

Got my MISTI in the mail yesterday, so have been watching how-to videos today. Found a few that were really helpful so thought I'd share them since I know that several of you already have a MISTI (and others are gonna want one after watching these videos!)

This first one I almost didn't watch after the speaker said she's only had her MISTI for a week. But I love her accent so kept listening... and picked up a few nice tips. Especially related to aligning dies, doing layered stamping and ombre stamping. Super saweet! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mr9IzznY9Q

How to do mirror stamping. Looks so quick and easy... and cute!

Tomorrow I get to play with my new toy. Can't wait!

Thanks for the links, Kathy. I want to learn as much as I can about the Misti so I can get full use of it.

I've been stripping the images from many of my wood stamps to use with my MISTI. But... a few are collectables and I really don't want to destroy them. (Plus, am running low on the adhesive backing that I purchased forever ago!)
So, was glad to find this tut on how to use the MISTI with wood stamps. Basically a stamp positioner extraordinaire!
