Don't quit your day job!....Winner is.....Trudi!!!

Moderator: Golda

Good morning everyone, one of life's many adventures is ending or starting a new job. Your challenge is to create a card that celebrates this adventure. Some of us have friends or family members who are starting a new chapter in their lives by obtaining a new job or career while others are retiring at the end of their service. Let's honor and remember these people by wishing them well on the new chapter of their life by creating a card celebrating the new job or their new non-job! Have fun. For my example, I added a origami shirt fold to my card, an extra point if you can incorporate an origami fold to this challenge.

All entries posted by mid-night Tuesday, May 16th will be entered into a drawing for a small prize. I can't wait to see what you make!

Okay... this is a little different for a "new job" card. But a friend just retired. When I asked what she was planning to do now, she quickly replied, "Fishing! I'm going to fish... a lot!" So, figured she'd like this card.
The inside sentiment reads, "Go get 'em!"
(Barry I took you up on the challenge to use Origami. Found a fish tutorial on Pinterest and it was super easy.)

Kathy that is perfect! This was exactly the sort of thing I was thinking someone would do with this challenge. I love your fish origami and the torn paper water is awesome. Thank you for playing along.

Kathy - My dad has spent a lot of time fishing since he retired...it's an inexpensive hobby! Your friend will love it!
