Hedwig (d. 27 July, 1997) was Harry Potter's pet Snowy Owl (Bubo scandiacus).[3] Hedwig was an 11th birthday gift from Rubeus Hagrid to Harry. Hagrid purchased her at Eeylops Owl Emporium.
In addition to the usual use Owls are put to, delivering mail, Hedwig was also a close companion to Harry. She remained one of his closest friends right up to her death during the Battle of the Seven Potters at the height of the Second Wizarding War.

For this challenge, you are to highlight an owl (no need for it to be a Snowy Owl). If you do not have any owls in your stash, I have seen some cute Origami owls online and a quick google search will bring you to those.

You have until midnight on Tuesday, February 27, to upload a picture of your creation for this challenge to be entered into a drawing for a small prize. Winner will be posted on Wednesday, February 28.

Its been a long time since I ready the HP books. This crop is making me want to do that! I especially love remembering Harry friendship with Hedwig. Need to find my owl stamp for this one!

I have to go see what I have . I think I might have a die of an owl....or a stamp maybe. Isn't that terrible when you aren't sure if you have something in your craft sup[lies? Either means I have too much if I can't remember what I have or my memory is going!
