Hippy Hippy Shake & Matchbox ***ELAINE is the winner!

Moderator: Golda

Happy Wednesday! This challenge has 2 parts...

First, the Hippy Hippy Shake...make a Shaker or Wobble Card.
Second...make Oversized Matchbox Since most shaker cards are thicker than normal cards, it's nice to have a special mailer for them!

For my example, I made a really large shaker card for our new member, Katrlou, on my my BFF's from way back in 7th grade!

but I did figure out the measurement for an A2 card with the depth of 1/2".

***Ellie let me know that the measurements on the picture were hard to read, so here they are! (Thanks Ellie!)
Matchbox base paper 7 3/4 by 6 1/2, scored at 1/2" and 1", cut on short ends from inner most fold on to the fold closest to the center of the box

Matchbox wrap paper 5 3/4 by 11, scored at 3/4", 1 3/8, 6, 6 5/8

hmmm not very good directions but here's a video. I did add an fold on each side to make it sturdier for mailing so I did the cutting on the inner most fold. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Njy-qKNSG0

"You have until midnight Tuesday, June 12th, to upload a picture of your creation for this challenge to be entered into a drawing for a small prize. Winner will be posted on Wednesday, June 13th."

Great shaker card! Still love your beautiful dress card, too. This should be a fun challenge.

Oh I love your groovy girl dancer. Reminds me that I have a great 60s dancer digi image that I could use if needed. Yay!

I bought this Mickey shaker card kit almost a year ago and never used it...GASP!!!!!!!! It was easy and fun and the matchbox went together lickety-split. Thanks for the directions and dimensions, Trudi. This is for my Grandson, Gabe. He is taking the second part of his GED test as I am typing this. When we get official word that he passed, he will get this card with some cash in it along with an afghan I crocheted for him.
