Barry... I thought we had to use 8 layers! I just went back and re-read the rules. Ooops. No wonder it took so long to make this! Yes... it does have more than 8 items in the 8 layers. I'm glad you aren't disqualifying me for... oh, maybe dingyness!

I've done that a time or two Kathy - where I mis-read or mis-interpreted the challenge. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we're happy that you played even if the rules were stretched. No reason to disqualify anyone for their creativity!

Linda Jo and I spent the day on Friday making cards from a class kit we bought recently. I had enough scraps left to make a couple of cards so I used some to make this one. It has: 3 rose gold pieces, 3 pieces of designer paper, one greeting that says Dance and one butterfly. Thanks for a fun "pieces of eight" challenge, Barry!
