GAMES!

Moderator: Golda

So, to start off our crop week, we're going to "connect the games" (think the 7 Degrees of Kevin Bacon game). I'm going to list a favorite game, then the next person needs to list a game that has something in common with that game: they both involve cards or dice, they were released the same year, etc.

A game that I really enjoy is Balderdash. That's the one where you get a weird word and you have to write a definition for it, the real definition is written and put in the mix, then all the definitions are read and everyone votes for which one they think is correct. It can be hilarious! It also makes you think.

Good grief, no one?!?

The game to connect to Balderdash is Outburst, as they are both loud, fun games. So, someone, please, find a game that has something, anything, in common with Outburst.

Other things the 2 games have in common, that I could have used:
Both involve cards
Both are group games
Both are word games
Both are guessing games

Do you get the idea? You can Google Outburst to get an idea of what it involves, if you don't know.

Outburst has a timer, and Boogle the word game also has a timer.

Scrabble is like Boggle as it includes building words from assorted letters. However, it is like a prehistoric version of Boggle!

And yet, one can enjoy both! Thank you both for playing along! I'm only going to add games in, if no one else joins in for a while.

So, Scrabble is the current game.
