Well done Trudi, I agree with Kathy on a good reason to go shopping to any store but Goodwill is a good place to start.
Thanks for doing the Musical of Dr. Seuss challenge.

This one took some serious thinking....I even went to the library to look through Dr. Suess books for inspiration and forgot just how profound he was. As a kid the messages of his stories seemed to go over my head at least consciously. Then I went to look at more "Suessical" video's and came across a poster for a production that I ended up creating. I cut three oval for "Horton's eyes" cutting most of the largest one out just to leave the eye creases. I drew the speck of dust, fussy cut that out, layered it on black card stock for a outline, drew the stem, and cut out the eyebrows and drew on his nose creases. Inside the card reads " A person's a person no matter how small". I really like how "Horton" turned out.

Barry, Your Horton card is delightful. That is one of my favorite Seuss stories. My other favorite is the theme for my card.

Barry, that is amazing! I love that you drew parts of it, too.
Kathy, what a wonderful card.

I went with Yertle the Turtle:

My friend has the Lawn Fawn Magic Window die sets and many of the before and after stamps. Just a hint, if you use that, color before die cutting.

Barry, great job! Boil that dust speck!

Kathy, that is darling an I love the faux fur cuff!

Golda, that turned out adorable. I'm not familiar with Yertle. I better brush up on my Seuss.
