Is it Elastic or Rubber Band?..5/20-5/26

Dispel the Monday blues with this Monday morning to Sunday night challenge.

Moderator: Ellie

I'm posted now because I have an early appointment with an eye doctor, my right eye is shut closed it's leaking, swollen and red it also hurts.
Do you say elastic or rubber band? For this challenge your tool is to use either an elastic or rubber band and use it as a stamp. Below is a video on the technique:

Here are my samples...I made two because the square cardstock was my practice and I liked it so I added it to a card.
I used Distress Oxide Ink: Broken China, Faded Jeans and Peeled Paint.
Post your card by midnight May 26th for a chance at a prize.

Cute cards Terrie! I've looked at that technique a few times and never did it. Guess this will push me to try it. Thank you for hosting.

Terrie, I love your cards and that you didn't use shades of the same color. The video one was pretty, but yours are better. I even found a few rubber bands in my desk drawer, so I should be good to do this, later. For now, I'm off to work.

Your cards are great. I used this technique when I taught stamping classes back in the 90's. Will be fun to put it to use again.

Thanks for the lovely comments, I hope you give it a try on this technique.

I went to the eye doctor for my eye and he found two May flies (they were dead) I think they call them Gnats...
We were at the campground cleaning and they were lots of gnats they were all around our head...
By rubbing I got an infection so with antibiotic it will be fine.

Have fun crafting..

Oh, that sounds rather horrible! Glad to hear it's easily fixed. Good luck!

Oh, Terrie, how awful! Glad it will be fine with the antibiotics.

I started this when I was home today and will finish up over the weekend. I had tons of rubberbands that must be dry rot and kept breaking. I was down to 3 by the time I was ready to stamp. I guess I better buy some more broccoli and asparagus for some new rubberbands!

Made my own stencil for the first one, then tried a whole background for the second.

My husband really liked the look of this using the rubber bands. I had fun with it, too.
