The Living is Easy July 8 - July 14

Dispel the Monday blues with this Monday morning to Sunday night challenge.

It's summertime! Time to break out those summertime stamps and create a bright, happy, summery card. Since July is National Ice Cream Month, if you create a card that features ice cream, you'll have your name put in the prize drawing 2 times.

Here's a couple samples:

Those are great cards Elaine! It's a sweet challenge and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. I have an idea, but have to leave for work, of course.

Elaine, your cards are both adorable.
I am on the road again... but do hope to make a card this weekend when I get home. And maybe have some ice cream, too? :D

I know I'm quick to make my card but I'm home for a few days then I'm off again...
I did pick to make an ice cream card to give to my best friend with a gift card from our Frosty Boy ice cream stand.
When I come back home we will meet up and catch up on some summer news.

Terrie, that is great. I love your background paper, too.

On Tuesday, I showed my son how to use the Silhouette to make an actual card. He did most of the work on this, including all of the putting pieces together and decorating. He's not thrilled with it, but is giving it to one of his grandmothers for her birthday in a couple of weeks.

So, this is Jon's entry:

At the beginning of the week, I stamped ice cream cones and found papers, etc. However, wasn't able to put them together, so finally made sure I did it today. Here's what I came up with.
