Terrie, great samples... and a fun challenge. I'll see if I can find some large letters to use. I have some in my scrapbook supplies. Now... if I can find them!

Terrie, I love the Gold foil "Thanks" card. Foiling I understand is a huge thing to do right now. I don't have any but I sure do like the look of it.

Elaine, I think I have that same DP you used! I like your colors and design very much. You beat me at being first :)

Here is my card for the challenge our nephew just bought his first house in Michigan and I decided to make him a card for his first large purchase.

Had an idea for this, just no time to figure it out, until last night. Got it started, but it didn't go quite according to plan, so had to adjust it this morning. I like it and it turned out pretty much how I imagined it. Embossing paste is not the same as white gesso. Adding white acrylic paint on top of the embossing paste turned out much better. This one is simply one word on top of patterned paper, which is on a layer of card on a base.

As I was looking for how to do that one, I looked at some paper and ephemera Trudi sent me as a prize and did this one. This one is one word on patterned paper on a base.

I really like both of them. That's unusual.
