Summertime Spot

As mine is the first of the "Good Old Summertime" challenges, I want you to think of a place you either like to go, or dream of going in the summertime. Then, make a card representing it in some way.

I would love to go lay on a beach somewhere. Preferably a private island with lots of beauty, swimming, and no responsibilities. Ahhhh, the dream.

Golda, your sample card is delightful. And your challenge is, too. But also hard. There are so many places I want to go! Will need to put my thinking/dreaming cap on!

My dream spot is cruising around the USA from Massachusetts to California and stopping here and there....Vince and I talked about it but he can't retire at this time BUT it is on our wish list....We have friends at the campground that traveled around and they loved it....

I got sprung a day early from dog sitting cuz this isn't exactly beach weather today with Elsa making a visit. I took advantage of my surprise day off and worked on a few cards. Needed to make a steampunk card for granddaughter's birthday, which is totally out of my comfort zone and I needed to finish up a set of cards I started. Finally, got to my challenge card. This time of year in NC, you want to be either at the beach or the mountains. (You know, it's not the heat, it's the humidity!). I searched for a better background paper cuz I would much prefer a nice log cabin or a B&B to camping but I enjoy all the outdoor activities that go with the mountains.

I really really REALLY want to hang out with my friends...lake, beach, mountains, or even the backyard it doesn't matter!
My kids would love to be at the beach...
