Corner fold card - July 26 - Aug 1

Dispel the Monday blues with this Monday morning to Sunday night challenge.

Hello everyone and thank you Terrie for covering me for last week I really appreciate it. This was a new card fold for me that I had never done and I had fun doing it so I am hoping that I am able to share something new for you as well as something that is alot of fun to create. It is a corner fold card.

I used a Laurel Burch stamp and some Stampin up papers to create this fold. Here is a great tutorial on how to do this:

Have fun and let me know if you have done this fold before and if you like it. I will award a winner on the evening of Aug 1 for one lucky participant.

What a pretty card! I think I’ve done this before, but not positive. I’m looking forward to seeing the video and then creating something.

Just watched a video and I have not done this one before. I’m really looking forward to trying it. Thanks for something fun and new to do!

Terrie, your card is beautiful!

Here's what I did. This has been a crazy week, but I finally had a bit of time to make it.

This was a fun fold. The front says: Someday you will be old enough to read fairytales again. C.S. Lewis" Apparently I'm that old, cause I'm still reading fairytales.

Terrie, I love your paper choices and colors. You did a fantastic job on this new (to me) card fold. I really like the look on your card and this technique.
Golda, your card is simply fantasitical and so much fun! I particularly enjoy the inside which gives a complete continuation from the front design. Just love it!

Thank you both for playing along this week and making this new (to me) card fold.

Terrie, I love sunflowers, so I love your card!
Golda, I also love fairies... but have never seen them riding on bubbles. So fun!

My first attempt at this fold didn't work very well. I cut too far and had to tape the card together. A strip of pink paper covers my botch! And I like the way it turned out.
