Aug 9th .... Boys Boys Boys

Dispel the Monday blues with this Monday morning to Sunday night challenge.

Moderator: Ellie

It's a busy week this week...5 birthdays in 3 days...and 3 of them are "boys"! (okay they are actually all over the age of 50 but are more like teenage boys than Katrina's friends!) I've always had a harder time making cards for the "boys" and NEVER have any in my stash...so this week I challenge all of us to create "boy" cards!

Here's what I've come up with so far...

I can't wait to see what you come up with! I'll have a drawing on Aug 16th for a small prize!

1. Terrie
2. Barry x3
3. Golda x2
4. Elaine
5. Kathy

I think you'll get a lot of agreement that men's cards are a stretch for most of us. It's good to get some in stock. Great job on your boys cards and thank you for hosting! I had a cancellation later this week, so I'll get to play after Wednesday.

Well I spoke too soon, my open schedule just got rebooked but I do have Thursday off so still a maybe. I'm going to push myself because I too need boy cards (and 2 little boy cards so those could be fun!).

Well, I found some western designer paper at my local Ben Franklin so I came home and made this card using a digital image that I found on the internet. I was quite busy as I made three and will likely make more as I was having so much fun!

And of course I had to do a box card:

Made this one on Sunday, but it was made with my scuba diving brother and cousin in mind. The shark is on an action wobble over a shaker background.
