6x6 wonder - October 18 - October 24

Dispel the Monday blues with this Monday morning to Sunday night challenge.

Moderator: Ellie

Hello everyone, I am posting early since I just got back from 3 full fun (and safe) days at the CKC convention where I made my Halloween cards, my Thanksgiving cards and took classes and spent alot of money and even won some prizes, all in all a very fun 3 days! I am very tired and I am going to go to bed early so I thought I had better post early and I hope you all don't mind.
My challenge for you this week is to create cards using one or two pieces of 6x6 paper. If you don't have any 6x6 paper cut up a 12x12 into 6x6 sheets and use a one sheet wonder to create your cards. There are several videos with tutorials and templates on the internet. Do a search from 6x6 one page wonders and you will be met with several sites of inspiration. My inspiration came from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FeJh8sqUVA and I made these fall inspired cards.

These are a fun and wonderful way to get several cards done using one (or two) pieces of 6x6 paper. Create the cards and share the link to the site that inspired you. You have until next Sunday, Oct 24th to upload your cards to be eligible to win a prize from me. Most of all have fun and create some Joy! Heaven knows we can always use more Joy!

Great cards Barry and thanks for the inspiration! I'm not home this week but I'll be stopping in to check out everyone's cards.

I've got one done...and if I don't post now I'll forget! I'll keep the papers out next to my computer so maybe I'll get more done! I used Jesscrafts.com 6x6 one sheet wonder #7. (https://jesscrafts.com/resources/a2-osw/)

(oy...teenage break-ups are as hard on the Mommy as the kid, especially when it happens just days before Homecoming Dance!)

I was gifted this set of orange 3 1/5 by 4 3/4 sized bases with black envelopes and figured this challenge was perfect for them. Thanks Barry for reminding me of the 1 sheet wonders...now I have a stash ready and I'm begin to think about which Christmas paper pack I'm going to start on!

Trudi, these are terrific! I really like them. I am so sorry about the teenage break up. It is so hard to see your child sad, but the solice is that we have all experienced something like this and we grew from it and later learned from it but boy does it hurt at the time.

Thanks Barry. She's doing better than me...especially since we ate ice cream, cookies, pie, and had hot chocolate for dinner to commiserate. How she did NOT end up with an upset tummy was amazing...I paid the price for it until the wee hours of the morning. Good thing I had the challenge to do!
