We've got Metal! November 8 to 14

Dispel the Monday blues with this Monday morning to Sunday night challenge.

We're in the holiday season, so your challenge is to make a holiday card with some sort of metal highlighted in it. Use some actual metal sheeting, foil, add some leafing, some wire, a metal accent piece, or something else. Have fun with figuring out how to make metal a part of your card. Now, as birthdays can be right around the holidays and they certainly are a holiday for the person celebrating, you could make a birthday card with metal, or a holiday card with metal.

Here are a few examples:

I went with Thanksgiving cards. There is foil on the one on the left, an embossed metal sheet on the center one, and wire used on the one on the right.

Enjoy creating a card, or more, with metal! I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

I'll admit, I struggled a bit with this but decided the KISS method was the way to go.

I had this Celebrate metal bookmark for ages and now I can use it for this challenge...
There is not much on this card I wanted to focus on the metal...I added a few holly leaves and red glitter glue dots.

Keep It Simple Sexy is always a good way to go Elaine. What a fantastic sparkly card to highlight your metal.

Terrie, this was the perfect place to highlight your metal piece. Great job on meeting the challenge and having a wonderful card to show for it.

Golda, what a fun challenge.
Elaine, your KISS card is great. (But... now I'm going to be craving Hershey's Kisses the rest of the evening! Do you deliver?)
Terrie, I have a few of those metal bookmarks that I've never used. Thanks for the idea!
I added a bronze charm that I've had for a decade or so to this sweet Mother's Day card.
