May 24-30: For the kiddos!

An open ended midweek challenge to give you a little bump to get through the rest of the week! Begins on Wednesday mornings.

Golda, I have never heard of using tulle for a shaker card! But, like Ellie noted, would solve the static issue I have with most shaker cards.
Elaine, your card makes me think of that song from the old Lady and the Tramp movie, "Me Siamese if you please!"
So cute!

A few weeks ago, Kathy hosted a Character challenge. I bought this Fancy Nancy book to use on that challenge but life got away from me and I never had the chance to work on them. So, since the neighbors started honking their horns at 5:30 this morning...I've been up for awhile and enjoying sitting on the deck and fussy cutting! Later I will put sentiments on the cards, but now I have to get ready to cut more firewood...before it gets hot like yesterday!

(Yes, I cut up a book...the book lover in me shudders at the concept, but it was already damaged and I got it for a quarter at the 2nd hand store!)

I loved reading Fancy Nancy! Don't feel bad about cutting up a damaged book; you rescued it from becoming trash and will be turning into treasures. Nice fussy cutting, my friend!

Here is my kid card.

Trudi, I agree with Ellie. You rescued those great images.... and will thrill some little girl with them!
Ellie, your sock monkey card is adorable! His pose reminds me of Curious George. They must be related!!
