Kathy, I love that you up-cycled. You always do that so well. Kudos to you my friend.

I have this done, but got called out on a family emergency this morning so hopefully I can post it before I leave for Florida Monday morning.

I love the colors pink and gray together. I am hoping to unpack some of my room this weekend. Maybe I'll find some pink and gray.

Kathy, what a great card! I do love how you reuse all the great stuff that goes your way.

Barry, I can't wait to see your take on it.

I fell in love with this paper at a LSS a few months ago. I only bought one sheet along with the shimmery gray and some pinks. Of course I didn't use them because they were on "the good paper" shelf in my mind. Thanks to you Barry, I have now used it and I have enough left for two or three more cards. Now that it has been cut, it's no longer "good" paper and I will use it with wild abandon...cause 's how I roll.

This card is for my high school friend who is turning 65 on December 8th. We have a long history of doing crazy things for each other's birthday. So, I turned this elegant looking card into a way of razzing her about her age. The kicker is that I will turn 65 in January but I will still be younger than her.

Barry, thanks for a challenge that turned out to be loads of fun for me.

OH Ellie! THat is stunning, just so beautiful! I love it so elegant. I know I would have had a heck of a time using that paper. I have stacks of paper that I just cannot cut. I need therapy :D Thanks for playing along.

You know what they say, Barry. (Cue the music) The first cut is the deepest. If you want to use some of that paper I will be glad to talk you through it.

Beautiful card Ellie. Great use of that special paper. It's certainly easier to cut into when it's for someone special.

Ellie, you are hilarious! That is beautiful paper and I am oh so glad that you found a wonderful way to use it! Your friend is going to love it.

Trudi, you created a beautiful card, as well. Have fun on your shopping trip!

Mine is pretty simple, but, it is what it is. At least I found some time to make one. It isn't at all what I had intended.

The card is a dark gray, definitely gray, whether, or not, that is what it looks like in the picture. The embossing powder is a pink sparkle, so it is pink with gray (okay, silver) sparkle.

The candle looks awful, but it is just a tester. For those of you that are coffee addicts, it is coffee scented. I made layered ones for presents, yesterday, but needed to test the wick, so you get to see it.
