Feb 7th....RAK challenge...

An open ended midweek challenge to give you a little bump to get through the rest of the week! Begins on Wednesday mornings.

Moderator: eoconnell

For the last few months I have been working with Katrina's Girl Scout troop on their AMAZE Journey patch. This patch navigates social pressure, beginning, changing, and ending of friendships, cliques, peer pressure, social media friendships, bullying (personal and cyber), and everything else "relationship" related. For their service project, they decided to do some "RAK"s of inspirational quotes and other positive sentiments on bookmarks that they made.

RAK day is FEB 17th, and I challenge you to make a stranger smile with something you have made.

I made several simple cards like this and are planning to have Alexandria give them out to the kids at the Teen Homeless Shelter she works at and to hand out on the bus she rides in Seattle!

Your cards are great... and I love the challenge. I've never RAK'd anyone before. Sounds like such fun!

Kathy - It's like May Day...when you put flowers on the door, ring the bell, and run!

My RAK treat bag is for the new neighbors that just moved in.
I just made one for now I will make two more cause they are a family of three.
I'll have a card to welcome them to the neighborhood.
Seeing it now on the forum I need to add something else to it.

Nice job Terrie! (What's in there???)

I've had this little pack of cards for a couple years. My neighbor works at the Nursing Home around the corner so I'm going to give these to her to either give out from her or give to residents to give out.
