Terrie, the Easter boxes are darling!

Linda JO, those turned out great. My wrist size is 5 1/2" in case you would need to know that.

My big kids all have birthdays coming up so it's almost time for the annual Birthday Bash. I will make one of these for each of them in different colors. This was the experimental one but it turned out to be a keeper. Thanks for a fun challenge, Elaine!

Linda Jo, I remember making those as a kid. But mine didn't look that elegant. What a great way to use scrapbook paper!

Ellie, those are going to be a hit at your party. So fun!

Linda - there was a lady at the big Christmas craft fair that was selling necklaces made of paper beads...they were expensive and people were scooping them up like crazy!

Ellie - what a wonderful birthday candle!

I've been working with Katrina's Girl Scout troop to earn their Book Badge. They had to complete 2 different binding techniques, so here are the samples I made to show them. Of course they will get to raid the "pretty" paper box, but I stuck with plain paper to make them up quickly! The blue gingham booklet has the Saddle Stitch binding and the plain white one is the Piano Hinge Binding. (I think I first saw the Piano Hinge binding when Susan showed us some of her books she had made...)
