Colored Heat Embossing Starting 1/14/15

An open ended midweek challenge to give you a little bump to get through the rest of the week! Begins on Wednesday mornings.

Moderator: eoconnell

Often we need colored (heat) embossing for a project and we may, or may not, have the correct color of embossing powder. So, I am giving you two options on this challenge. 1) Use colored embossing powder on a project. The flowers and sentiment are embossed with purple sparkle embossing powder.

Or, 2) stamp with colored ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.

This is what I used for this multi-colored embossed flower, as well as a heat tool.

Besides pigment ink, there are also markers that work for coloring your stamp and embossing.

This is an open ended challenge, so I'd love to see what you come up with.

The "Make a Wish" was stamped with silver ink and I used white embossing powder on it.

Sorry about the picture is all pixelated...I tried a new setting on my camera.

Trudi, thank you for playing along! I don't notice anything wrong with the picture, and I love your pretty card. Did you make the flower?

No, it is a metal flower from a prize package that I received!

Sorry Golda!
I usually have my crafting time while Bug is "napping." The heat gun is a bit loud for use during nap time... If I can squeeze it in I will. :)

I hear your echo Golda! I'm sorry. I have been using what crafting time I have to finish a project I started and haven't been doing any other crafting / challenges. Things have not been normal around here. So I'm sorry I have not done your challenge or others lately. It is a great challenge though and you and Trudi have made some fun and pretty cards!

I don't have any colored embossing powder I only have white & black
so I used the white embossing powder for the background of my
bookmarks....I hope this meet the challenge!
