March 25-31: Shape card

An open ended midweek challenge to give you a little bump to get through the rest of the week! Begins on Wednesday mornings.

I did a shaped spotlight. I know, it's weird, but I like it and I'm thinking the photographer it goes to will, too.

This is for the photographer at the Ladies' Tea last weekend. He dropped everything to come take some amazing pictures of the annual tea the Women's Group at our church puts on. Now, I have to get some of his pictures printed to go on our bulletin board. As well as write in the 11 Thank Yous I made this week. YIKES! Oh yeah, have to make envelopes for those TYs as they are not typical size and hand them all out tomorrow morning at church. Did I say I'm running behind? I am.

This is what the other 10 TYs look like:

Golda, you HAVE been busy! And your camera card is sure to be loved by the photographer that will receive it. The spotlight technique on the lens is a perfect touch. (BTW- do all the tea thank you's have the pop up inside? So neat!)

Golda, fun card and I really like the glittered highlighting! Your photographer will get a kick out of it! Your thank yous are really cute with those tea cups too.

I am so ready for some double stuffed OREOs, but since the cupboard is devoid of all cookies I made a cookie card instead of the real ones. Oh the waistline may thank me but the taste buds would like the real things!

Trudi, I love your cookie card! But, did you have to mention double stuffed Oreos? Yum!

Kathy, yes, all of the 10 thank yous have the cup pop ups inside. The Silhouette made the cutting easy, but getting them to fold right and getting all the little pieces out took forever. Handed all but one out this morning at church. Decided to skip the envelopes and tie them with ribbon. Much easier and I actually finished last night.

Trudi, oh yum! What a cute cookie...err card!

Golda, good thinking on tying the card with ribbon. It makes it like a little present - which handmade cards certainly are!
