Jar Full of Wishes

An open ended midweek challenge to give you a little bump to get through the rest of the week! Begins on Wednesday mornings.

Moderator: eoconnell

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry!!!! I lost my mind and didn't realize that today is Wednesday. It's one of the few downsides of being retired. Every day is blissfully the same! I also never know the date.

My challenge is for you to make a card or a tag featuring a Mason Jar. Any theme or color is OK. Have fun with this! Here are my samples:

What a nice "problem" to have! This should be a fun challenge. You examples are all great, too!

That's okay El - I just remembered to look and see if you posted (hey, it's not midnight yet!). I'm so out of whack I can't even begin to tell you. Super challenge and love your cards. Maybe I can even get a chance to play. Back home and surrounded by my stuff.

Okay, I work 3 days a week, as well as have calendars everywhere, and I still can't remember what day of the week it is a lot of the time. I'm thinking it just has to do with how busy we get and the lack of rest. I really need to work on that!

What a great challenge, Ellie. And your samples are lovely.
This weekend when looking for something in my craft room I found some jars that I had printed off on acetate and cut out some time ago. So, was fun to get to use one of them!
Filled this one with some scrapbook paper of shells laying in the sand. Attached it to a beach scene that I cut from the front of a card from the dollar store. I like the way it turned out... but can't think of what sentiment I could use. Any suggestions?

"Dreaming of a trip to the beach." Or, "A quick trip to the beach with no sandy residue."

Kathy - I love the beach in a jar! How about "Dreaming of a Heat Wave" and mail it out when we are all super tired of the ***insert shivers here*** snow!
