Hi gang! your challenge this week is to create a card using only shades of pink and gray! My example is a light gray card stock layered with a dark pink patterned paper, then using shades of gray and pink to embellish, even the bone is a warm gray color (which kind of looks tan in the photo) and the sentiment is stamped in a dark slate gray color. Have fun and I cannot wait to see all of the pink and gray cards!

Fun challenge, Barry! I have one idea already but I will chew on this a little bit... Love your sample card!
You are going to be busy for the next 10 days hosting both challenges. What a guy! Thanks so much for sharing your time and talents with us.

Golda this is a background doily frame from the Silhouette Store. Interestingly, the dog image is actually a free kids coloring page I found on the internet, I imported it into the Silhouette machine, re-sized it, had the machine trace it so that it could cut it out for me. The machine did everything but color it which I did myself :)

Another interesting fact: I never know how to spell the color Gray, is it spelled Grey or Gray? Well I looked it up and actually both are correct. Gray is mostly used in America and Grey is mostly used in England. And that is how you can remember: Gray, America, Grey, England

You are welcome. I am prepared and more than happy to host back to back. Besides I have some time off next week from work so it will be just perfect!

That is interesting. I use them fairly interchangeably. I like the added U in so many of their spellings and use those sometimes, too.

You "coloured" your dog beautifully! Thanks for the info on how you used your Silhouette. New things I'll have to actually try - tracing and cutting a found image.

Cute card Barry and a fun color combo!

I've been known to use the British spelling of some words when I'm feeling British...LOL! I drive my family nuts when I'm watching Downton Abbey because I go around trying to talk like them. :D Love their accent!
