I have more bits of card stock than patterned paper, so I used those, too. I know, the foiled letters didn't come out too clearly. I may trace around them with a thin black pen, or I may leave them. I had a few more ideas, just no time to get them complete.

Linda Jo, I love yours! Those patterned angles are fantastic.

Terrie, what a beautiful Christmas card from your bits and pieces!

Golda, I like the way you laid out the pieces of cardstock; it's very pleasing to the eye.

Linda Jo, that turned out so cute! I love the little dots that coordinate with the cheverons.

Terrie, very nice and I like that you used one of the previous challenge techniques!

Golda, that turned out great! I might steal that idea and emboss the pieces behind with different textures for fun!

As I prepped for next month's challenge, I had lots of scraps on my desk! (Also, the video I was following gave tips on how to use up your scraps!) It was a simple card to put together but my "perfectionist" tendencies wanted all the pieces to line up, be the same thickness, and be symmetrical...the opposite of random scrappieness! Oh, the string was in the scrap pile too!

I can't wait for Katrina to get home to from the school play auditions to help make more of these cards!

What a fun one! I love that even the string was in your scrap pile. It's a totally scrappy card. :D ;) :D
