Cards in Minutes Challenge 10/19 to 10/25

An open ended midweek challenge to give you a little bump to get through the rest of the week! Begins on Wednesday mornings.

Moderator: eoconnell

Well, Terrie and I had similar ideas for our Challenges! Now that you've tried the One Sheet Wonders, it's time to try 10 cards in 20 minutes (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/553168766714594221/) or 45 cards in 45 minutes (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/553168766714122622/).

I found some Christmas Project Life Cards on sale and followed the 45 cards in 45 minutes video. I was able to get 19 cards made out of the 25 card set. I then embellished them with my Stardust pen, glitter glues, and odds and ends I had on my art desk. (I even used a lot of the scraps to make the tree card!)

So for this week’s Challenge, I challenge you to follow the theme of either video and add to your card stash. You don’t need to make Christmas or Holiday themed cards, they can be for any occasion. (You get bonus kudos if you make a matching box so that you can give the cards as a present!)

1. Terrie - with treat bag holders and wrapped
2. Ellie
3. Golda

Your cards turned out really nice....what a great way to jump start your Christmas cards.....

Do these cards have to be different or can they be the same through out?...just wondering

They can be different. The 10 in 20 shows how to make a set using either the same stamp set or die cuts and the 45 in 45 shows how to use 1 stack mat/Project Life Card set. It's all about making a coordinating set.

I did the cards yesterday and finished the candy holder and bagged it this morning.....it took me about 1/2 to do the cards and another 1/2 to do the candy holder then to finish everything off.
I used DCWV Arctic Wishes Matstack for the cards, banners and candy holder...

Terrie, I can't believe you made those wonderful creations in an hour! And... that there is any chocolate left to put in the treat boxes! Love the paper pack. Such cool, crisp, winter colors. Yummy!

Terrie - I've been eyeing that paper pack myself...the colors are gorgeous! I love the little seal and penguin you used to decorate your cards with! Great job. I'm glad your Hersey Kisses match your candy holder...but I'm wondering how many of them got ate while you crafted? Me...I would have ate at least 1/2 the bag!

Kathy, this was pretty easy...the paper did the work I just added the banners....I did stamped the penguin then colored him black......the trimmer did the cutting....easy-peasy!
I've done these treat boxes before so that was really easy only in a different color.

Trudi, believe it or not I did not eat one kiss....they were cookie & cream flavor...not my kind that I like....
