Four Fold Card

An open ended midweek challenge to give you a little bump to get through the rest of the week! Begins on Wednesday mornings.

Moderator: eoconnell

I tried this card and I love it! It looks great and it is not hard to make. Here is a link for the Four Fold Card video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMYRj2oqPPA

The card is very easy to make and looks beautiful when finished. The hardest part is getting all of the measurements from the video. You will still need to watch the video to see how to assemble the card but you can skip through the first part with all of the measurements.

Here are the measurements:
Base CS: one piece cut at 5 1/2 by 11 1/2 and one piece cut at 2 3/4 by 4 1/4

CS for panels: two pieces cut at 2 1/4 by 3 3/4, two cut at 3 by 4 1/2 and one at 3 3/4 by 5

DP: two pieces cut at 1 3/4 by 2 1/8, two at 2 1/4 by 2 7/8 and one at 2 3/4 by 3 5/8

Coordinating colored CS: two at 2 1/2 by 4, two at 3 1/4 by 4 3/4 and one at 4 by 5 1/4

The video will tell you where to cut and score.

I plan to make another one for a masculine birthday just to see how it looks. Have fun with this.

Ellie - what a great challenge! Alexandria asked me for a fancy Christmas card to send to her host family in Guatemala and this would be perfect for it!

The workout was good.

Thanks to all of you for waiting on me to put in the measurements. I have them in a PDF and tried to attach it but the site wouldn't accept it. A Word document might have worked but I don't know how to change a PDF to a word document. :(

You can copy and paste. That's what I usually do.

As promised, I made a masculine version of this. I love it! It's for a friend you who always wears a fedora and three piece suits. He is our lawyer, a great artist and a Mickey Mouse lover. I can't wait to send it to him for his birthday next month.
