Zz Dec 21-27

An open ended midweek challenge to give you a little bump to get through the rest of the week! Begins on Wednesday mornings.

No, this isn't a nap challenge. It's a Double Z Card. I liked the way my first one looked so much I decided to do a second with a different size Z. They go together quickly (well, except for finding papers that go together - thank goodness for paper packs!).

Here's a tutorial to get you started but you can certainly alter the size of the card and the width of the z insert. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/181269953731640025/

Hope you'll play!

I have had this pinned for a while but, of course, I haven't tried it yet. This will give me the push I need. Good challenge, Elaine! Your sample cards are both perfectly lovely.

Elaine - I really love the look of the poppy card...I hope I can find time to try it out this week!

Love your cards! I've pinned some of these cards but, like Ellie, haven't tried making one yet. So... thanks for the challenge!

Crud, I was really hoping you were challenging us to take a nap. Oh well. I love both your examples and look forward to trying this!

What a great comment, Golda. Took me a moment to get it... then I chuckled!

Actually, Golda, I used an image that I had made with the stamp I used for your challenge to create another card. (Using the stamp kissing technique! (And I was surprised how easy it was to make a double z fold card. I'll be doing this again!)

Wow...this card really went together fast! The hardest time I've had with it was choosing a sentiment...and I decided I will add that when I send it!

Trudy, love that DP. And pairing it with sand colored paper (kraft brown) cardstock is perfect!
