A pinch of this, a dash of that, stir well, and bake...and voila a beautiful card.

For this recipe you need:
a square base card
ONLY 2 colors
embossing
decorative edge
1 embellishment

optional: mats and a sentiment

My card is white with purple, the square base card is embossed with flowers, my purple mat has a decorative edge, my 1 embellishment is the butterfly, and the optional white mat has purple writing. I can't wait to see how your recipe turns out.

Trudi, that is beautiful!

My brain is already starting to come up with ideas. Crud, now I have to go to work and don't get to play. :( In my best Arnold Scwarzenegger voice, I'll be back! :)

Here is my recipe card. I sanded over the embossing and it really gave it dimension.

Ellie - what a cute card. I love how you distressed the embossing to give it even more dimension.
