Trudi, two kiddos are going to feel pretty special receiving those cards. (Especially the stylish cowgirl!)

When I think of the southwest I think of bright colors and bright tiles with geometric designs.

Discovered that I had no stamps or papers with a Southwest theme. So... I sketched out and then fussy cut a silhouette that I mounted on a bit of recycled calendar. Added the perfect sentiment printed on vellum, attached that with metallic stars and I'm good to go!

Well, this time of the year I'm reminded of the long, hot Southwest summer that I have to endure. But I am also reminded of the many treasures from the past that we are privileged to see.
Here is my card:

Koren, your card looks like antique cave drawings! Love the background paper and addition of the metal Kokopelli accent.
Great job!

Kathy, I love that you figured out a way to do this and accomplished it! Love that beautiful card and sentiment.

Koren, your card is fantastic. I love those images. And the beautiful silver embellishment is wonderful. The reminder of the almost here summer, is not quite so much loved. Though I don't mind summer too much and I'd much rather have that than a cold winter. ;)
