It's FALL! 9-13 to 9-19

An open ended midweek challenge to give you a little bump to get through the rest of the week! Begins on Wednesday mornings.

Moderator: eoconnell

Well, it's cooled off a lot in the last week...including a really nice thunderstorm and heavy rains here in the Pacific Northwest. Soon, the leaves will be changing colors and that's my absolute favorite thing... This week's challenge is to make a card with autumn leaves as the focal point. You can use any type of leaves, mine are pressed leaves. (Barry gifted me these wonderful pressed leaves as a challenge prize. Thank you Barry! )

I know Fall doesn't officially start until the 22nd...but Happy Fall!

PS...the paper behind the leaves is a page from an old dictionary...the definition of FALL!

Lovely card, Trudi. I love that you used the definition of "fall" behind your fall leaves.

Now, it's cooling down to the upper 80s at night, so it is definitely fall. I love it when it cools down to the 70s at night, so it's still cool in the morning on my way to work.

Very elegant CAS cards, Elaine. The branches look so delicate!

I got a set of slider card dies free at the Scrapbook Expo in July. This was my first chance to use one. I love it! Prior to this, I was hand cutting the slots with an exacto knife. This is so much easier.
