Terrie, love your card. And a pink tree would be a lovely addition to a craft room!

Pretty tree Terrie. A lady that I work with has a pink tree in her office. Every time I see it I think of Barbie.

I had a request for a Minnie Mouse tree...my sister was hinting she needed a set of them but I told her she could make them herself! (That's the same response that our Dad gives us when we ask for a wood project made...along with "I taught you girls how to do it...so go out in the workshop and do it yourself!)

Finally able to work on this one. So, as one of my friends really likes the color orange, 6 other people will get orange Christmas cards.

Just a hint, when putting cards in the tub and misting from 3 feet up, if you are over 40, just because you can't see the gold mist on the cards doesn't mean it isn't there. My gold "mist" pretty much inundated the front. Way more than I wanted, but they are kind of pretty, too. The sentiment is embossed in gold (difficult to see in the picture).

Wow... what fun cards!
Although I didn't get any box cards made. I did upcycle an old birthday card to meet the requirements of this challenge. Because I used an old card, it took me less than 10 minutes to make this card. Will be sending it to my youngest sister. And I can even imagine her response. "You made me a Dr. Seuss tree!"

Here is the orginal card- Image

And here is my upcycled remake-

Kathy, that is fantastic! It's so fun to make cards we know the recipient will enjoy. Great job on the upcycling into a beautiful, new type of card.
