Something Old 12/20 - 12/26/17

An open ended midweek challenge to give you a little bump to get through the rest of the week! Begins on Wednesday mornings.

Moderator: eoconnell

Your challenge this week is to use something you've had for a long time. Maybe something you haven't used in quite a while. I haven't used my crinkling tool (ha! I don't even remember what it's called) in years, so pulled that out, dusted it off and used it. It doesn't matter what it is, whether some ribbon, bling, buttons, a stamp, a tool, some old adhesive, though that may not be good anymore, whatever you have. Let us know what it was that you used that was "old" and show us what you created with it.

This one used a stamp I've had for a really long time and don't use too often.

Have fun! And please, I know everyone is crazy busy this week and next, so just do this if you have a few spare minutes. Do, however, have a wonderful Christmas!

Oh how fun! I have so many things that I never use... I could walk in my room and just look around for a second and find something. I will try and do this Golda. Your example cards are wonderful!!!
Merry Christmas to you.

Great challenge Golda - we all have those rarely used items that beg to be used. I like your cards and thank you for hosting!

Golda, what a great challenge. Might even keep me from buying new stuff!
Your sample cards are great. I especially like your ingenious corrugated field made for that sweet little lamb. (Yep... I think that tool is called a corrugator!)

That sounds right. All I could think was cardboard and I knew that wasn't right. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Here is my card from old items that I have...
The back ground paper is from a paper swap I had for a while maybe way over a year I never knew what to do with it but for this card it worked perfectly.
The ornament is from a sizzlits when I first started crafting and the machine that you had to press down with a handle and it was heavy to carry around....
The sentiment is old from Oriental Trade which I never used until now.
