Let's make like a banana and split!

An open ended midweek challenge to give you a little bump to get through the rest of the week! Begins on Wednesday mornings.

Happy New Year! Barry here for a little Wednesday challenge for you. I made some thank you cards over break to send to my family and friends that sent us Christmas gifts and I wanted something different, interesting and fun. Doing some research I found this little tutorial on doing a floating split front card. She also shows how to do an amazing stamp resist in the video which turns out very pretty. You could also do this technique for this challenge however I am really focusing on the floating split front but the resist is quite impressive.

I purchased these cute little dog digi stamps (I bought the whole set so you will be seeing this little guy a lot in the coming weeks :) ), colored him with my new copic markers and used "Kindergarten Font" for the sentiment, printed it out on plain old copy paper, added some ink blotches, cut and glued it in place.

I hope you all get a chance to create this fun card this week. I cannot wait to see what you create.

Cute card Terrie! I like your holey border.

I have a snow day today, so I'm catching up on some play time.
