When we moved my MIL into assisted living, she had a dozen years worth of Norwegian calendars. I couldn't stand to see them thrown away. So... spent hours happily cutting the pretty Rosemåling swirls and shapes. Was fun to develop a few cards that I know my MIL will enjoy as they include the definitions of Uffda. (I had printed these off years ago. Can't find the definitions on my computer right now and I realize that this is hard to read. But trust me... it is good Norski humor!)

Terrie, your rose card is lovely. It's a very pretty layout and the pop dots really give it pizzaz. I'm glad you ventured out of the box; it's fun out there!

Kathy, how sweet of you to make cards that have so much meaning for your MIL! Your fussy cutting is perfect and the cards look great. Your MIL is blessed to have you!

Okay, the microphone is cut out 3 times. The first time is just outside the whole thing, the middle layer has the white cut out and the top is just the microphone. I popped each up with mounting tape, though getting small enough pieces was difficult. Unfortunately, the pole was just to thin to put some between, so I have the feeling it's going to get bent.

On this one, I fussy cut the piano and laid it all flat. I realized after putting the microphone one together, that I'm going to be having a whole bunch of ladies signing these, so flat was definitely better. I'm hoping the first one doesn't get messed up.

I also fussy cut a lady and dog image, but figured you really didn't want to see more. I've been doing a LOT of fussy cutting. (I've got 20 thank you cards to get done for people that helped with the Ladies' Tea last week.)
