Window to the World 7/9-7/15

Dispel the Monday blues with this Monday morning to Sunday night challenge.

Moderator: Ellie

This week's challenge is to create a card with a window. You can use an actual window die or you can create an opening in your card to reveal an under layer.

You have until midnight Sunday July 15th to post a photo of your creation to be eligible for a little prize from moi. (If you need a little motivation, I've stocked up on prizes recently!)

Elaine those are beautiful cards. I too, love the cat in the window. Our cat, Diego will watch what we call "Bird T.V." or "Bunny Tales" or "Squirrel Friends" all day long from the sills of the windows. I am working on mine, now that I have an idea.

Elaine, I had a great afternoon making this card. I bought the stamp/die set for the bushes some time ago but this was the first time I used it. Lots of piecing here but well worth it. Thanks for a fun challenge!

Ellie, it turned out great! I love the roman shade and the banner across the window! Such cute details.

I was planning to use a window die cut, then remembered this sweet retired stamp from Stampscapes. I used to collect Precious Moments figurines, so loved the look of this stained glass window stamp. It looks so neat on vellum! I added a close up so you can see the details.)
