Happy New Year....well almost! Dec 31 to Jan 6th

Dispel the Monday blues with this Monday morning to Sunday night challenge.

Moderator: Ellie

Happy New Year y'all! I bet you are thinking that I'm going to have you do a calendar type project...like last year...but nope, I got something else planned! To start out the New Year, let's make a stack of cards using the One Sheet Wonder technique! You can do 6x6 paper or 12x12, which ever you have on hand. Here's the stack of cards I made...but I should warn you that my 3 year old granddaughter picked out the paper pack...

I used some of the cutting templates from http://kathrynscards.blogspot.com/2013/ ... rmula.html but there are a great many different templates to choose from!

There will be a prize drawing on the Monday the 7th...I can't wait to see what you make!

Great challenge Trudi! Funny, you and I apparently have the same taste in paper because I have that paper pack as well!

Trudi, I like the paper, too! Great cards! Haven’t done one of this type of challenge in a very long time. As I have today off, I’ll have fun getting started.

I used a 6x6 piece of paper and was surprised that I was able to get 4 cards out of it (and even a matching heart for the inside of one of the cards).

It also amazed me that a 6x6 double sided pattern paper made these cards....
Thanks Trudi for a fun challenge.

Elaine & Terrie - It's great to discover how much you can do with a single 6x6 piece of double sided paper!

Elaine - I love all the doggie images you have in your stash!!!!

Terrie - On this cold but sunny day, it's really nice to see butterflies!

Elaine, those are great pet cards!

Terrie, what a beautiful set!

Okay, I used a 12x12 and got 8 cards made, with enough pieces left over for about 6 more. Totally DONE with making cards, after trying to figure out what to make, though. You will see some of these again, as examples of my upcoming challenge. Sorry, trying to kill 2 birds with one stone.
